As the year gets into full swing, we’re grateful to be stepping into another year—despite the challenges it has already brought. Storms, power outages, and unexpected obstacles have tested us, but through it all, our community continues to stand together and support one another.

This is the kind of community where you can still walk down the street, go for a run, and feel safe. One of the few places where that sense of togetherness is still alive. A place where people genuinely look out for each other—and that’s something really special.

We took a well-deserved break to regroup, refocus, and think about what’s next. Behind the scenes, we’ve been working on fresh ideas for the website and exploring some exciting new ventures. While we may not always be active in the groups, we do keep an eye on things—and this year, we’re committed to being more involved and finding our rhythm again.

We’d love to hear from you about topics you’d like to see on the site. We’re also starting a food blog, featuring tried-and-tested recipes along with some fun and interesting food content.

To our local businesses, we’d love your help. Tell us about your upcoming events so we can promote them proudly as Henley events. Share your trading hours with us and we’ll add them to the site. We’re also launching new social media platforms—WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok. Once they’re live, we’ll share the links on the website and Facebook, and we encourage local businesses to make use of them.We’re also looking at adding a classifieds section and a job vacancies page for local businesses and individuals.
