The Travel Station is an independent travel business owned and run by Joanne Daye in Cape
Town. With more than 30 years of travel experience, Joanne helps travellers plan journeys from
South Africa to destinations abroad, whether for a family holiday, a milestone celebration or
time away exploring somewhere new. She also assists overseas travellers planning a visit to
South Africa.

Planning a holiday is exciting, but finding the time to research the options and bring all the
arrangements together can be challenging. Joanne offers personal guidance and practical help
throughout that process.

Good travel planning begins with the person taking the journey. Joanne takes the time to listen
and understand what you have in mind – how you like to travel, the pace you prefer and the
experiences you hope to share.
She then draws on her industry knowledge and experience to turn those ideas into a
thoughtfully planned itinerary, bringing the travel arrangements together with care. The places
matter, but so do the people you share them with and the memories you bring home.

Although Joanne is based in Cape Town, she works with clients across South Africa and overseas.
Conversations by phone, WhatsApp and email allow her to get to know each traveller and help
with planning and arranging their journey.
